Sandy Spring Friends School is once again offering two preseason practice cross country meets which you are invited to attend.
The dates will be:
Wednesday August 26, 2009 6:30pm
Wednesday September 2, 2009 6:30pm
The course will be the same as last year with start and finish line out on the baseball fields to the right of the right side soccer fields. Anyone is welcome to come. It is an unofficial meet with no team scores and no recorded times. Coaches and/or athletes are expected to time themselves. In the past several years we have had fairly good turnouts for these events with a total in the range of 75 to 120 athletes counting both boys and girls.

When you arrive for the meet, please park in the parking lots if possible. The first one is just past the fields just after a right hand turn at the stop sign. There is a bigger parking lot past the first lot, just keep going past the first lot and it will be on your right. The newer gym will be open for bathroom facilities.
