Division I

Georgetown Prep makes the trip to Sandy Spring to spice up a meet that would otherwise be controlled by Sherwood. Sherwood is expected to go undefeated in their division for the rest of the year, but can Georgetown Prep hand Sherwood an unofficial loss this week? It depends on whether the Little Hoyas load up with their big guns.

Division II

Paint Branch, Damascus, and Northwest all have undefeated boys teams and come together this week in a matchup that will, in all likelihood, determine the division winner. The indoor county, region, and state champions from Damascus must be considered the favorites to win the boys' matchup, but Northwest has the talent and the bodies to contend if everyone comes out healthy on the same day.

Similarly, the Northwest and Damascus girls remain the only undefeated teams in division II, most likely making this the determining meet. It would be hard to imagine anyone taking down the deep Northwest squad as long as they are close to full strength.

Division III

Watkins Mill and Gaithersburg combined probably would not have as many athletes as Churchill. While the Watkins Mill boys are as strong as ever, Churchill has every event covered and must be considered the favorites to win Division III. This marks the first time in Mocorunning history that I've picked my alma mater, the Gaithersburg boys, to lose not one, but two dual meets. They do not have the depth to compete with many teams in a dual meet format this year.

The Northwood girls proved me wrong last week, improving to 3-0 with wins over Gaithersburg and Blair. They have two weeks to enjoy it before encountering B-CC and Churchill on the same day. Churchill should steamroll through Gaithersburg and Watkins Mill this week while B-CC should remain undefeated against Blair.

Division IV

The Kennedy girls get the largest ovation from me for proving me wrong twice last week and improving to 3-0 with wins over Richard Montgomery and Whitman. Congratulations girls, but I have to disrespect you again. The girls teams from Walter Johnson and Wootton are a different beast. Wootton covers every event like no other team and should improve to 4-0, while I think WJ has only a slight edge over Kennedy.

The Wootton boys have taken down Blake and Whitman without much trouble so far this season, but Walter Johnson will greatly reduce the scoring potential of Wootton's runners from the 400 to the 3200. If WJ remains competitive in the field events, they can get their first division win.

Richard Montgomery is likely to improve to 4-0 in the division after a matchup against Blake. It will be a fun and competitive meet in the sprints, jumps, and throws, but RM will pull away in the hurdles and track events 400-meters and up.

Why the heck is Georgetown Prep randomly racing against a bunch of Division one schools? They're just going to stomp all of them- except Seneca Vally, of course.

It's quite apparent the Watkins Mill athletes never have won anything before. Since none of them know how to act.
