There's only event in every year that seems to combine Christmas, Hannukah, Independence Day, Labor Day, and your birthday all into one three-hour span. That event is the Burrito Mile. Food, fun, and friends all while helping out the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society! What more could you ask for? This year's competition promises more fun than ever, with Qdoba providing the ever-so-important burritos and Brooks Sports providing fun, games, and prizes to the winners.
The event will be held February 27th at Tilden Middle School, located at
11211 Old Georgetown Road
Rockville, Maryland 20852
The middle school is on your right as you proceed north on Old Georgetown Road. Parking may be limited this year, so try to carpool with others!
The events will be as follows:
Frosh/Soph Race - 1 p.m.
Junior/Senior/Open Race - 1:30 p.m.
Elite 1 Mile Race - 2 p.m.
4x8urrito - 2:20 p.m.
Try to arrive half an hour before your race to give yourself some time to settle in! Rules can be found here: http://burritomile.com/pages/5

$10 for a t-shirt

All proceeds go directly to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Last year over $3000 was raised for LLS, but I know this year can be better. Donations will be collected on site for this great cause.
