Rank (Previous) Team

1	(1) Quince Orchard
Still the team to beat after winning Peter Geraghty Invite with 69 points and winning 4 dual meets with 19 points or fewer.
2	(3) Walter Johnson
1st at Woodward Relays, 4th at Howard County Invitational, 7th at Brentsville Relays, and 1-0 in divisional meets. Need to work out the inconsistency, but looking as strong as anyone else through 5.
3	(4) Good Counsel
3rd place at Peter Geraghty Invitational. 2nd at Woodward Relays. Might lack depth, but top runners look good.
4	(6) Gaithersburg
5th at Woodward Relays, 4th at Frank Keyser Invite, and 3-0 in divisional meets. Many questions from preseason have already been addressed.
5	(5) Northwest
5th place at Peter Geraghty Invitational and won 2 of 3 divisional meets, losing only to Quince Orchard. Filled out their top 5 with a talented freshman.
6	(2) Whitman
4th at Woodward Relays, 7th at Peter Geraghty Invite, and 0-1 in divisional meets. Top runners look good, but upperclassmen have not pulled their weight in early meets.
7	(9) Churchill
12th place at Great Meadows with 20 second spread between 2nd and 6th runner. 2-2 record in divisional meets, losing only to Northwest and QO.
8	(7) Damascus
1st place at St. Johns Invite. 1-1 in divisional meets. 1:20 gap between 1st and 2nd runner at both meets.
9	(11) B-CC
3rd place at Woodward Relays. No 5k races yet, but displayed good depth at Woodward.
10	(8) Sherwood
6th at Woodward Relays, 14th at Great Meadows, and lost 4 of 4 divisional meets. Must develop more depth to survive this year.
11	(10) Magruder
8th at Peter Geraghty Invitational, 1-0 in divisional meets. 2:47 5-man spread at Peter Geraghty. Must get healthy and close gaps.
