Rank (Previous) Team

	1	(1)	Northwest
1st place at Peter Geraghty Invitational with 34 points and 38 second 5-woman spread. 2-1 in divisional meets, but weekend loss to Churchill does not count in standings.
	2	(2)	Churchill
2nd place at Great Meadows Invitational with 4 girls under 20:00. 4-0 in divisional meets, but the real matchup against Northwest comes on Wednesday.
	3	(4)	Whitman
2nd place at Peter Geraghty Invitational, 1st place at Woodward Relays, 1-0 in divisional meets with victory over Quince Orchard. Very strong top 3 with good depth.
	4	(3)	Quince Orchard
4th place at Peter Geraghty Invitational, 1-3 in divisional meets, losing to the 3 teams ranked above them. 5 quality runners.
	5	(10)	Wootton
2-0 in divisional meets. Great 1-2 punch, and good #3 and #4. If #5 comes along, watch out.
	6	(7)	Damascus
1st place at St. John's Invite, and 2-0 in divisional meets. Outstanding depth. Could use more strength up front.
	7	(5)	Richard Montgomery
7th at Peter Geraghty Invitational and 0-1 in divisional meets. Top 5 is too spread out with 2:37 5-woman spread at Peter Geraghty.
	8	(8)	St. Andrews
5th at Episcopal Relays with absent varsity runners. Still laying low.

	9	(9)	Good Counsel
8th at Peter Geraghty Invitational, and 3rd at Woodward Relays. A very young team with great top 3. Developing the rest.
	10	(11)	Gaithersburg
8th at Woodward Relays, 4th at Frank Keyser Invite, 1-2 in divisional meets. Lost to Wootton with the same exact places as Magruder.
	11	(6)	Magruder
9th at Peter Geraghty Invitational. 0-1 in divisional meets. Do not look like the team they were at the end of last year despite returning most of their top 5.
	12	(NR)	Walter Johnson
4th at Woodward Relays, 1-0 in divisional meets, and 36th at Brentsville Relays. Many new faces including a new #1.
